Just Cuts Geelong engaged us to complete the full joinery and fit-out for their new salon located within a busy retail precinct. The brief was to deliver a high-functioning, low-maintenance space that aligned with Just Cuts’ national branding while adapting to the layout and practical requirements of the Geelong site. The design needed to support consistent customer flow, clear zones for cutting and waiting areas, and back-of-house organisation, all while maintaining a polished, professional finish that reflects the quality and reliability of the Just Cuts brand.
We managed the complete joinery package from initial site consultation through to fabrication and installation. Working closely with the client and the franchisor’s design team, we ensured that all brand standards were met while also tailoring the layout to suit the specific site conditions. All workstations, reception counters, product displays, and storage units were custom-built in our workshop to suit the exact dimensions and required finishes.
We selected materials that would offer long-term durability in a high-use environment, focusing on impact-resistant surfaces, moisture-resistant cabinetry, and easy-to-clean finishes. Functional needs were also front of mind—we included concealed cabling, under-bench storage, and ergonomic layout decisions to support staff throughout long shifts. We also coordinated with other trades during the build to streamline the handover and meet tight timeframes for store opening.
The finished salon is a clean, professional space that allows Just Cuts Geelong to deliver efficient service in a comfortable and modern setting. The joinery delivers both durability and visual appeal, with finishes and details that reflect the Just Cuts brand while meeting the day-to-day practical needs of staff and clients. From walk-in welcome to end-of-service clean-up, the salon layout works effortlessly—supporting the team, minimising maintenance, and creating a great experience for customers. The client was pleased with the end result and the project was delivered on time and on budget, ready for a smooth launch.
