The Bing Box – Nom Nom Desserts, located at 138 Koornang Road, Carnegie 3163, is a vibrant dessert bar known for its playful take on Asian-inspired sweets, from signature bingsu to bubble waffles and handcrafted drinks. The brief was to create a dynamic, eye-catching shopfit that captured the brand’s fun, youthful energy while remaining functional for fast-paced service. The space needed to incorporate a compact kitchen, a visually striking counter area, efficient workflow for staff, and clear customer navigation—all within a high-traffic, high-visibility footprint. The client’s vision was clear: the interior had to be bold and colourful, yet tidy and highly efficient behind the scenes.
We delivered a full scope of joinery, working closely with the client, designer, and subcontractors to bring the playful concept to life without compromising function. Our role began by translating the vibrant design language into practical, durable joinery elements that could be pre-fabricated and installed with minimal disruption to neighbouring businesses. Every element—from the custom counter to wall cladding and shelving—was produced in our workshop to precise specifications, aligning with the operational and branding goals of the business.
Bright colour panels, glossy finishes, and custom signage features were used to create a strong visual identity, while joinery detailing ensured seamless integration of equipment, concealed storage, and easy staff access. The flow between front-of-house and kitchen was carefully mapped to support high-volume dessert preparation and beverage service, ensuring staff could move quickly and efficiently, especially during peak hours. Installation was completed under tight scheduling requirements, allowing the venue to launch on time.
The result is a bold, cohesive interior that brings The Bing Box’s identity to life—fun, fast, and functional. The space invites customers in with its energetic palette and clean layout, while the staff benefit from a smart, ergonomic setup that streamlines operations.
